A Technical Sales Engineer is needed in Troy, Michigan.

Job Duties:

Coordinate sales engineering activities and part development operations in manufacturing of electrical automotive parts such as wire-to-wire connector units. Confer with customer's in-house engineers to evaluate products' engineering performance and standard. Evaluate and analyze engineering requirements to improve sales strategies, and to identify new sales opportunities. Develop sales plans to introduce new technology and products in existing market as well as in new market. Prepare technical presentation for proposals and respond to customer's specific requirements. Provide technical support to current and prospective customers to assess needs of equipment or system upgrade. Provide engineering training to customers to ensure the product and related technology is positioned well within customer's product and system. Conduct extensive analysis, planning, and organization to eliminate sales obstacles.
