Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to take ownership of one section of our plant alongside an engineer. You will be responsible for writing work instructions, implementing upgrades and changes, completing major repairs and preventive maintenance, working on specialized maintenance tasks, conducting training, and more. A significant part of your role will involve maintaining tube forming lines and presses, troubleshooting programming, fixtures, and production-related issues, and adjusting machine controls as necessary.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Troy, Michigan.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing facility primarily producing metal exhaust systems for automotive manufacturers. The work environment is clean but can be loud due to machinery noise. Safety is a priority, and you are required to wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, which we will provide, except for the shoes. Shifts available are 2nd (4pm to 2am) and 3rd (9pm to 7am), with a possibility of overtime and occasional Saturdays.
