Waltonen is actively seeking a Fixture Builder to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

• Report to Independence Tooling Operations Manager

• Produce Machine Assembled Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, and Gauges:

• Utilize blueprints, sketches, specifications, and descriptions to develop, machine, and assemble various tools.

• Apply knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and assembly methods.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Proficiently use hand tools such as calipers and gauges

  Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges

• Prior assembly experience is required

• Ability to operate shop machinery effectively

• Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workload

• Welding experience is preferred
