Lockheed Martin Security Manager/ FSO / Lvl 5 / Troy, AL in Troy, Alabama

Description: Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control Business Area is seeking a seasoned Security Manager and Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team in Troy, AL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Candidate shall manage all security processes and procedures for Collateral aspects to include: Security Management, PERSEC, Physical Security, Security Education, Sub-contractor Management, proposals and close-outs.

• Work closely and coordinate with the Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Manager and CPSOs to ensure compliance with SAP requirements.

• Ensure oversight and coordination of the Collateral duties and responsibilities for CPSOs to include personnel security, program access requests, foreign travel reporting and foreign contact reporting.

• Selected candidate will also serve as the USG Security Lead / Focal point for LMMFC, providing direction and overseeing security requirements associated with USG Collateral programs.

• Provide oversight/management for employees and work closely with contract guard force personnel.

• Managing all functions of the defense industrial security program, i.e. contract security specification administration, COMSEC operations, security education and awareness, personnel security/security incident investigations, asset protection, access control, adverse reporting, etc. Ensure compliance with company and government security regulations.

• Formulate security policy and procedures. Address and solve security problems with all levels of employees and customer representatives. Prepare budget input and manage procurement of services and equipment. Conduct investigations and advise the senior management team. Attend FSO staff meetings and ensure the site Senior Manager is kept apprised of critical issues/concerns regarding the facility.

• Ensure security personnel at the facility properly utilize corporate tools/databases. Participate in/lead enterprise self-inspections and other assessments such as the Defense Security Service Security Vulnerability Assessments, the BSI Audit, and MFC internal audits and inspections. Handle additional tasks as assigned by management. Manage Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E), Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), and COMSEC programs.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is approximately 30 minutes south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about 2.5 hours from Atlanta, GA.

Basic Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of the 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM).

• Previous FSO/Security management experience.

• Experience utilizing and managing personnel and facility actions in DISS, NISS and other similar databases.

• The ability to effectively lead personnel and teams is required.

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office products.

• Ability to multi-task. Great interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communications skills.

• Must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within 5 years to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity and working knowledge of Special Access Programs (SAP).

• A collaborative, innovative, and customer focused leadership style is desired.

• Demonstrated management of a dynamic team environment with multiple functional areas is desired. Experience leading self-inspection processes and corrective action plans. Excellent writing and presentation skills.

• Experience with DoD Manuals for SAPs – including application.

• Previous experience managing Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and COMSEC programs.

• Experience in counterintelligence, case management, intrusion detection systems (IDS) and access control systems (PACS).

• Familiarity with foreign visit and ITAR/export control requirements.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
