Description

This is a TEMPORARY-to-HIRE, full-time opportunity that can lead to a PERMANENT position and consists of multiple positions for an ONSITE schedule (with potential flexibility down the road depending on the particular role). The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

A well establishing organization has multiple positions open and is seeking specialists in the mortgage or property management/real estate industry who have experience in one (or all) of the following: Mortgage, REO, Default Title, Default Title Curative, Post Closing, and Purchasing. As one of these specialists, you will play a significant role in property management by ensuring smooth transactions through your vast understanding of real estate processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve REO and Default Title related issues swiftly and effectively.

  • Review, prepare, and interpret real estate agreements, ensuring legal compliance at all times.

  • Oversee Default Title Curative matters by investigating and rectifying defects.

  • Execute post-closing procedures, including preparing closing statements, titling properties, and managing closing funds.

  • Work with Purchasing teams to analyze market trends and assist in property procurement procedures.

  • Collaborate with inter-department teams and external parties, ensuring all transactions align with our standards and client expectations.

  • Continually deepen knowledge of the real estate industry's trends and regulations.

    Requirements

Main Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in an REO, Default Title, Default Title Curative, Post Closing, or Purchasing role.

  • Software experience required in BKFS (BlackKnight), LPS, and/or Loansphere

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and market conditions.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Process-oriented and detail-oriented with high standards for integrity and ethics.

  • Skill in managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
