Sunrun Staff ERP Engineer in Trenton, New Jersey

Sunrun, the leading residential solar energy provider, is on a mission to make solar power more accessible and affordable for everyone. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff ERP Technical Engineer with expertise in Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud technologies to join our ERP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level solutions that drive Sunrun’s supply chain operations, including Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Demand and Supply Planning, and Warehouse Management. This role involves both technical leadership and hands-on work as part of our transformation to Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as the Technical Lead on the Oracle ERP Cloud implementation project, providing technical direction, hands-on contributions, and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with functional teams, including Supply Chain, Operations, and IT, to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

  • Lead the development and configuration of Oracle ERP modules, including Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and other SCM-related modules.

  • Design, Development & Implementation:

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level solutions using Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud technologies, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

  • Build and manage integrations between SCM and third-party applications, focusing on seamless integration with front-end applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW) to meet the needs of business operations in SCM, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Collaboration & Project Management:

  • Work with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager and implementation partners to schedule technical activities, ensuring the project stays on track and meets defined milestones.

  • Guide and mentor technical team members responsible for developing reports, data conversion programs, integrations, and extensions on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Salesforce, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Security, Networking & IT Infrastructure) to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

  • System Optimization & Troubleshooting:

  • Continuously improve implementation methodologies for Oracle ERP Cloud projects by sharing insights and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle SCM applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and optimize performance.

  • Documentation & Training:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user guides.

  • Provide training to end-users and team members on new features, functionality, and best practices within Oracle EBS and Cloud applications.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring that Sunrun’s ERP platform remains innovative and effective.

  • Participate in Oracle’s quarterly product release impact assessments and communicate necessary adjustments to the implementation schedule.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud applications development, with specific experience in SCM and integrations with front-end applications.

  • Proven experience leading technical workstreams for Oracle ERP Cloud Global Implementations, with at least two successfully delivered projects in a Technical Lead role.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud technologies, including database architecture, development tools, and integration methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and web technologies, as well as developing reports, interfaces, and integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite, Web Services, OIC, or similar tools.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in developing custom solutions using Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, and OAF.

  • Knowledge of JET development or advanced JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, RequireJS, Knockout.

  • Familiarity with Cloud analytics and data migration tools like OTBI, FBDI, and ADFDI.

  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and integrating with external applications.

  • Functional Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of SCM processes in modules such as Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Demand/Supply Planning, and Procurement.

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud security framework, including SSO and user authentication.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS implementations.

  • Experience providing updates to senior executives and collaborating with vendor, onsite, and offshore functional and technical teams.

  • Oracle Certifications in EBS or Fusion Cloud technologies.

  • Experience with integrations involving Salesforce CRM.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

144,510.19 to 173,412.23

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
