NJM Insurance Mail & Document Processor Associate in Trenton, New Jersey

At New Jersey Manufacturers (NJM), a top-rated insurance company, we are seeking a Mail & Document Processor, Associate in our West Trenton office.This role does require working in the office.

The Document Processor, Associate is responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring, and maintaining customer satisfaction according to company standards with regard to the timeliness, accuracy, availability, validation and quality review of scanned documents; is responsible for preparing incoming mail for processing. This includes the ability to operate various types of scanners for the creation of electronic files. Able to troubleshoot issues with image clarity and make adjustments to equipment as needed to provide the best quality image and apply necessary metadata for document processing and retrieval.

Schedule

  • Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming mail and prep documents according to pre-established business rules for imaging.

  • Operate scan equipment to create the best possible quality image.

  • Validate documents according to pre-established business rules.

  • Understands capture software (i.e., rotating, deleting, splitting, and moving pages).

  • Meets departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Ability to audit completed documents.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be flexible and easily adapt to change.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of teamwork.

  • Self-motivated and has demonstrated initiative.

  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office Products.

  • Knowledge of document capture software and OnBase is a plus.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Some physical effort (handling light materials and boxes up to 30 lbs.).

    Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $37,217-$43242 Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
