EssentialFunctions/TypicalTasks
- Servesahelper/caregivertoaccommodatethecomfort/needsoftheassignedstudent.Thismayincludefeeding,toileting,lifting,etc.
- Worksincollaborationwiththestudent'steacherstoprovideaneffectiveclassroomlearningenvironmentforthestudent
- Assistsininstructionalpreparation/supportwithotherstudentsasneeded
- Providesindividualizedinstruction/directionstothestudents
- Demonstratesvariousinstructionalactivitiestoassistthestudent'scomprehensionandabilitytoaccessthecurriculum
- Keepsstudentontask
- Praisesandreinforcesachievementofthestudent
- AssistsindatacollectionandreportsstudentprogresstoteacherAssistswithmanagementofstudentbehavior
- MonitorbusesforstudentsinneedofSpecializedTransportationasneeded
