Currently accepting applications for a Substitute Assistant Librarian at a starting wage of $12.50 per hour substituting at the Library as needed during the morning and afternoon shifts and specifically overseeing and facilitating the Adult Programs offered by the Library. This position will provide assistance and guidance to library patrons by responding to reference questions, locating information sources, providing guidance regarding specific books and authors, circulating books and other library materials, helping patrons on computers, providing library cards, assisting in cataloging and classifying books, and all other duties as assigned by the Library Director.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have computer skills for helping and teaching patrons on computers, clerical knowledge, and be able to work well with the public.
