Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in line cooking, burgers, fry stations, and salad stations. While prior fast food experience is beneficial, the ability to read and cook recipes independently will also be utilized. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs. Responsibilities include cooking and preparing a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes, setting up workstations with needed ingredients and equipment, preparing ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items, and safely using a variety of utensils including knives. The role also involves operating equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers, using a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods, arranging, garnishing, and portioning food according to established guidelines, properly storing food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils, maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers, and adhering to safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation. Ensuring the security of company assets is also paramount.
