Seeking experienced Sr Corporate Tax Accountant

Hybrid in Torrance, CA - 3 days onsite. Flexible schedule (can select schedule start time from 7am-9:30am).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• Corporate federal and state income tax experience with mid-large size companies required

• Experience with Tax provisions, ASC 740

• Big 4 experience or large public company/CPA firm experience

Job duties:

The Sr Tax Accountant supports all aspects of the tax department functions, including preparation and review of tax returns, tax provision, indirect tax filings, and research tax laws and regulations.

• Prepares and reviews workpapers for corporate federal, state and local income tax returns.

• Assists with the preparation and review of interim and year-end tax provision workpapers.

• Reviews and facilitates the monthly sales and use tax returns filings with Avalara.

• Performs monthly tax account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.
