Marketing Events Manager

Position Summary

Singer’s Marketing Events Manager will execute both new and established marketing events within the US. This role will be responsible for delivering events in a way that aligns with Singer’s preferred attention to detail and organizational culture.

The Marketing Events Manager must have experience in planning and delivering marketing events for a luxury brand or high-end automotive company and have be able to demonstrate successful execution of such events in one or more of North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The role will require an entrepreneurial and hands on approach to access taste-makers, partners and collaborators in new markets.

This role is onsite in Torrance, CA with some travel.

This position will not manage a team; they will manage the events planning.

Essential Function

  • Plan and execute all aspects of automotive events, from concept to post-event evaluation, ensuring seamless execution and an exceptional experience for each guest. This will range from marquee events such as Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week to exclusive client dinners, driving events and factory visits.

  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site coordination.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, design, and operations teams to create event activities that are executed with the correct attention to detail.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance event opportunities and drive mutual benefits.

  • Utilize data analytics and feedback mechanisms to measure event success, identify areas for improvement, and optimize future events.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and enhance event offerings.

  • Develop relationships with partners and collaborators in key markets.

  • Work with the Sales & Client Experience Team to assess events opportunities.

  • Reflect the values of the Singer brand in all customer and internal interactions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ total years of experience within luxury automotive industry or equivalent brand industry

  • 5+ years of specific experience delivering marketing events

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant fields desired

  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines

  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently within and across departments

  • Prior experience in rapid growth environment

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Must be able to work flexibly with multiple time zones

  • Must be able to travel for work

  • Must be able to use finger, hands, and arms at computer keyboard for long periods of time

  • Must have ability to speak clearly and distinctly and hear and be heard and understood in person and by telephone

  • Must be able to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time

Compensation

The starting salary range for this position is between $85,120 - 106,400 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
