Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and discharging patients' rooms.

• Distribute and track linens used in each department.

• Clean and maintain facilities, common areas, break rooms, and bathrooms in an orderly condition.

• Refill toilet paper and other paper products as needed.

• Work in all hospital departments including ER, OR, NICU/PICU, Trauma, and Psych.

• Handle cleaning tasks in an environment with exposure to bodily fluids, blood, infectious diseases cleaning, and terminal cleaning.

• Clean hospital rooms, including managing blood and other bodily fluids, changing bed linens, mopping, sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out the trash.

Work Environment

You will work in a hospital environment, with responsibilities that include the discharging of patients' rooms and cleaning of bodily fluids. You will be exposed to areas with infectious diseases and will be required to stand, bend, and move throughout the day. The shifts are as follows: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am). Initial training will be on the 1st shift (8am-5pm) before transitioning to the assigned shift. You must purchase your own pair of black scrubs, although you will be given a pair once you become permanent.

Pay: $18.86
