We are seeking a Controller for our Aerospace division in Torrance, California. This role is critical in managing the financial, administrative, and risk management operations of the company. The Controller will also be responsible for developing financial and operational strategies, maintaining control systems to preserve company assets, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial and operational strategies in line with company objectives

• Oversee daily accounting functions including payroll, audit, and tax

• Manage the Business Office which includes safety compliance, facility, office administration, security, purchasing, and shipping

• Optimize company cash flow and provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management, departmental heads, and the Board of Directors

• Participate in the setting of yearly strategic goals and manage staff to meet or exceed these goals

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions to ensure efficient financial operations

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain accurate financial records

• Conduct Audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Oversee Budget Processes to ensure financial efficiency and profitability

• Ensure compliance with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) requirements and guidelines.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Aerospace industry

• Proven experience as a Controller or a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge and experience with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) regulations

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills and experience

• Knowledge of Budget Processes

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
