Honeywell CNC Mechanic- Electrical in Torrance, California

As a CNC Mechanic here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment within our organization. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our production processes and help us meet our production goals.

You will work under the direction of our Lead Maintenance Mechanic out of our manufacturing facility in Torrance, CA.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and in optimal working condition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection, to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

• Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to prevent equipment failures and breakdowns.

• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and be responsible for ordering parts.

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

  • Salary Range for this role: $48600 ($23.36/HR.)------$72700 ($34.95/HR.) Compensation may vary based upon experience and skill sets*

YOU MUST HAVE

• At least 3 years of experience as an equipment maintenance mechanic or similar role.

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of maintenance best practices and preventive maintenance techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
