What you'll be doing:
Designing, building and maintaining online courses using platforms like Xyleme, rapid e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, and animation tools like Vyond.
Designing and developing rich multimedia content, including audio and video assets, illustrations, animations, and interactive content.
Loading e-learning courses to the learning management system (LMS & Axonify), testing for technical correctness and usability, and successfully troubleshooting related technical issues.
Demonstrating superior technical expertise in the field of e-learning or web development to help lead the Design and Development team into the future.
Researching new technologies to improve e-learning development processes and standards, and recommending innovative changes to deliver cutting-edge e-learning content.
Designing, developing and implementing classroom-based training materials, including participant and instructor guides, job aids, assessments, and support tools for systems-based content.
Providing constructive input during all phases of the learning design and development process.
Conducting needs analysis using sound design principles to identify and define training needs.
Collaborating effectively and enthusiastically with other members of the CSO team and our business clients.
Analyzing test results, evaluations, and reports to determine trends and respond with follow-up information where required.
What you have:
University, College or Adult Education Certification (Degree preferred)
Five years of experience in learning design (conducting needs analysis, setting objectives, developing course material, preparing and evaluating leader-led and e-learning content)
Experience developing content leveraging Axonify, Xyleme or a similar XML based LCMS is an asset
Three years of experience developing interactive web-based courses using rapid e-learning authoring tools
Experience creating robust system simulations
Experience in preparing and troubleshooting SCORM/AICC compliant e-learning packages, and working knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards
Proficiency with graphic design and multimedia software, preferably the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Animate), and Vyond
Proven aptitude for and interest in leading-edge development tools and technology
Experience with responsive web design, mobile learning, and mobile application development is an asset
Strong understanding of the fundaments of graphic design
Expertise in user interface design for e-learning course development
Experience developing and editing e-learning courses using HTML templates
Experience reading, editing, and troubleshooting code including HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
Comprehensive knowledge of current web-based and in-class instructional theories and principles
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong negotiation, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under strict deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments
Ability to write and speak French is an asset

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
