Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to Senior Group Vendor Manager, work with vendor managers, project teams, technology stakeholders, SSG and finance to support progression of engagements, facilitate sessions, provide ad hoc analysis.

  • Initiate intake via a Sourcing Request and follow the Third-Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) process

  • Manage day-to-day inquiries from project and technology asset owners (TAOs) and teams as well as other Stakeholders related to business requirements, vendor spend and tracking progress of engagements.

  • Develop solid and effective working relationships with Business Unit leadership team, Finance partners and other stakeholders by providing value added analysis as required

  • Understand contractual / financial terms of a Business Arrangement and monitor a Third Party's financial health to mitigate risk related to costs and services

  • Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment that encourages productivity, professionalism, and teamwork.

  • Ensure integrity in dealing with Third Parties, complying with TD's Expense Policy, Enterprise Procurement Policy, Vendor Management Policy and Code of Conduct and Ethics

  • Monitor, analyze and report a Third Party's performance through the delivery of services against SLAs, SLOs, KPIs or other contractual commitments

  • Identify issues, document and monitor trends with a Third Party in a responsive manner, to reduce risk in alignment with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policies and related Standards

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, computer science preferred

  • 6+ years of experience in a business or Financial Services environment.

  • Previous experience in financial analysis, sourcing; or vendor management required

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel (using macros, analysis), PowerPoint

  • Highly proficient in using computer applications including MS Office; experience using Ariba / Coupa systems

  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions, research, collect, organize and analyze information and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive self-starter with abilities to work both independently and with a team.

  • Must have a high degree for attention to detail and urgency

  • Proficient in time management and demonstrated adaptability when changes are required.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to proactively follow up on identified issues and work toward resolution.
