We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the CASH and Credit Decisioning development team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and execution of our technical strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that support Rogers’ business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Manage Teams:

  2. Oversee one or more Applications Development teams, ensuring they achieve established goals.

  3. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth.

  4. Handle personnel responsibilities such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.

  5. Technical Oversight:

  6. Utilize extensive knowledge across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight for systems and applications.

  7. Stay informed of industry best practices, trends, and new technologies to identify opportunities for improving standards, coding practices, and delivery.

  8. Solution Review:

  9. Evaluate proposed technical solutions for projects.

  10. Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.

  11. Proactively suggest appropriate improvements for solutions.

  12. Judgment and Impact :

  13. Exercise evaluative judgment in complex and unique situations.

  14. Monitor project delivery, participate in budget management, and address day-to-day staff management issues.

  15. Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the company’s reputation and adhering to policies and ethical standards.

  16. Procedural Compliance and Vendor Management:

  17. Facilitate and maintain relationships between your organization and vendors/partners.

  18. Negotiate contracts, create standards for vendors, and identify the best available vendors.

  19. Ensure adherence to essential procedures and contribute to defining standards, even when negotiating with external parties.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Experience as Application Development Manger

  • 2+ years demonstrated leadership Experience and proven project Management Skills

  • Technical Expertise – Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, Java/shell scripting, REST/SOAP APIs. Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle DB, SFTP, and GitHub.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to take the initiative and delegate accordingly.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, and best practices.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

  • Have a strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely present information to groups and individuals at all levels in the organization.
