Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Architect to join one of our leading government clients. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience with cloud and on premise infrastructure and developing complex IT architectural designs. They will be working in tandem with the cloud consultant within the data operations team and will be responsible for aligning strategic business goals and architectures. Additionally, they will need to identify architectural requirements for new cloud services for multiple scenarios while effectively communicating with senior management.

Responsibilities:

 - Update and refine government technical architectures to meet government requirements.

 - Conduct assessments to measure and compare the performance of cloud services against best practices.

 - Provide actionable strategies to improve system performance based on evaluation results.

 - Direct the adoption and adherence to robust architecture methodologies across projects.

 - Perform system analyses and present solutions to improve efficiency and functionality.

 - Offer expert guidance in the design and implementation of large-scale IT systems.

 - Create strategic business reports that align IT strategies with business objectives.

 - Monitor and manage the implementation of technical architectures to ensure strategic alignment.

 - Evaluate and report on the business impact of architectural decisions and implementations.

 - Research and evaluate emerging technology trends for potential applications.

 - Inform stakeholders about new technologies and their potential impacts on existing systems.

 - Develop detailed documentation outlining the architecture framework, policies, and procedures.

 - Assist in formulating IT strategies that support long-term business goals.

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years as an technical architect working on IT Infrastructure

   - Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)

   - Experience with cloud and on premise infrastructure

   - Extensive experience developing complex IT architectural designs

   - Experience identifying architectural requirements for new cloud services

   - Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field -Experience with integration of AI technologies
