Canadian Tire Supply Chain Process Analyst Student (12 months) - Fall 2024 in Toronto, Ontario

What you’ll do

The Supplier Performance Team within Supply Chain Integration (SCI) works in partnership with Canadian Tire’s Suppliers, Category Business Managers and various Supply Chain teams by developing and maintaining the Supplier Performance program for CTC suppliers (vendors). The Supply Chain Process Analyst Student will:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of domestic and offshore supply chain product flow through interaction with stakeholders including suppliers, merchandising, third party logistics providers, transportation, and other supply chain groups

  • Support the Team Lead and Manager in new process development and documentation

  • Coordinate and work with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Digital/eComm, IT and Accounting teams on cross-functional initiatives to support product flow

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third-party service providers to improve the supplier performance tools and processes

  • Work with external Vendors, Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams to derive insights into supplier performance and other metrics related to product flow to determine root cause and feasible action plans to improve inbound product flow

  • Project management support to team members, help facilitate the removal of barriers, and ensure requirements are met and delivered in a timely manner

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline

  • Ability to influence cross functional and supplier teams to support cross functional initiatives related to product flow

  • Strong time management skills along with well-developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate, and develop relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Effective at collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with external partners to implement change

  • Strong proficiency with Power BI a strong asset

  • Practical experience with MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
