The Headlines :

In the role of Sr Manager Commercial Planning & Execution working in Toronto, Ontario you will play a lead role on the Commercial Operations team. You will be the main point of contact for Commercial Planning working closely with the Brand, Sales, Finance & Senior leadership teams and be responsible for identifying process improvements that enable both Annual & Long-Range planning achievement and brilliant field level execution.

This position reports to our VP of Commercial Operations and works closely with many stakeholders across the organization.

The Responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions, personal & professional development planning and consistent one on one conversations

  • Main point of contact and Lead accountability for Commercial planning and budget coordination across Canada

  • Drive process between Sales and Marketing to information flow & content of material as it relates to fact based & analytical planning.

  • Coordinate annual planning kick-off Regional & Brand meetings with the Commercial Planning and Analytics team

  • Ensure planning material ‘’tool-box’’ is standardized among brand teams while meeting account Team requirements.

  • Organize planning volume reviews in final planning phases

  • Participates, with account teams and management, in defining key areas of success on the business align with supporting its tracking performance.

  • The candidate plays a role in seeking continuous improvements in our annual planning practices.

  • Extracts and translates data into meaningful insights on business requests emerging from strategic business discussions.

  • Finds and tracks emerging trends on segments, channels and brands for his/her region.

  • Presents insights and recommendations during forum discussions.

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (5+ years) in the CPG industry, Key account management, Sales finance or other business planning roles at a CPG company
