Randstad US Portfolio Talent Partner in Toronto, Ontario

Randstad, the world’s leading partner for talent, is investing in a Portfolio Talent Partner for our Randstad Digital specialty. The Portfolio Talent Partner will be responsible for supporting the structure of a high-performing recruiting operation for a large portfolio of accounts or client groups within a specific industry vertical. This role will be responsible for driving a dynamic mix of recruiting strategy, researching and executing new and innovative sourcing strategies, and measuring results of recruiting strategy and success. This role will address recruiting challenges and set Talent strategy to meet present and future hiring needs, as well as support the strategic execution of portfolio clientele by industry vertical which will require direct liaison with Randstad Digital NA Head of Recruiting and Talent Partner. Reporting directly to the Talent Partner you will collaborate and create opportunities (both organic and inorganic) that adds value and overall success to the business.

  • Leverage planning & forecasting; process & performance improvement oversight; and cost & recruiting performance to influence Randstad Digital strategy for the industry regions in which we compete.

  • Partner with senior leadership to drive field steering at scale ensuring equity of job distribution, accountability to recruiting expectations, and ensuring recruiting capacity is aligned with regional demand.

  • Achieve goals for pipeline, talent acquisition, revenue, partnerships, brand awareness, leads, content creation, net retention, and candidate engagement & experience.

  • Develop key initiatives related to emerging talent trends, recruiting technologies, leverage of talent channels, employer branding (talent), effective recruitment & marketing across specific regional markets.

  • Maintain recruiting processes for Talent & Regional Talent Partner teams designed to achieve specific NA & regional recruitment objectives.

  • Establish and manage team and individual goals to achieve overall recruitment plan; coach/mentor team members as needed.

  • Lead from the front and drive a culture of accountability and ownership across the team, spearheading the business in alignment with the organization’s vision, profitability, and overall value creation.

  • Leverage market intelligence to support strategic business decisions on feature development of existing and new data analytics solutions.

  • Provide feedback to Executive Talent Partner on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending/improving Randstad Digital talent acquisition offerings.

  • Motivate and upskill the capacity of the Talent Partner teams to sell cross-sell, and up-sell, delivering win-win outcomes for clients and the organization.

What you need to bring:

  • 7+ years of proven experience operating within a specific industry vertical and expert knowledge on how that industry operates (i.e., Healthcare, Insurance, Federal Government, Telecom, Consumer Retail, Banking, etc.)

  • 7+ years of recent experience with managing teams delivering large-scale digital transformation projects

  • Experience with recruiting solution development,project/program management, and project delivery increasing roles and responsibilities across sectors

  • Experience directing development of a business case for investment including ROI, roadmap, and KPIs

  • Understanding of and experience with effective use of data (collection, integration, segmentation, activation, and compliance requirements) in industry verticals

  • Digitally-savvy and informed on innovations, trends and technologies in the digital space; expert understanding of the best approach to implement new strategies that impact outcomes and drive digital transformations

  • Highly goal oriented and possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills

  • Strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on

  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities

  • Financial acumen and understanding of revenue and profitability drivers

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics

  • Proven ability to work in matrix enterprise structure

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Recruiting abilities along with market knowledge and/or product/technical expertise

  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building

  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan

  • Able to communicate with and present at the executive level
