Manager PCO CCaaS Business Transformation

As the CCaaS PCO, you will contribute to the overall success of the CCaaS Team by ensuring the successful management of the CCaaS program from a cost, time and planning perspective. You will also ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with Bank standards, governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

This role involves the monitoring of project expenses, resource onboarding and management, maintaining all related project artifacts, writing business cases, change requests and portfolio level reporting. The CCaaS PCO communicates effectively with key stakeholders to ensure the project is in good standing and aligned to the Enterprise project management framework

Accountabilities

Artifact Management:

  • Coordinating and controlling the end-to-end process of capturing all essential project artifacts. These include, but are not limited to: Opportunity evaluations, Business cases, Project charters, Baseline plans, Change requests, Status reports, Milestones, Achievements, Benefits realization, Internal and external resource allocations

Issue Resolution:

  • Escalating critical issues to senior management, providing a comprehensive analysis of options, and recommending remediation strategies.

Project Creation and Closure:

  • Ensuring proper creation for projects by creating artifacts to track financials, resources, accesses,

  • Ensuring proper closure for projects by making artifacts available for lessons learned sessions.

  • Updating impacted processes, tools, and templates based on project outcomes.

Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate Status reporting, Key portfolio/project data sharing, Meeting materials distribution, Action item tracking

Best Practices and Methodology:

  • Championing and supporting best practices, standards, and methodology.

  • Actively participating in their implementation and operationalization.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinating project resources, onboarding and schedules.

  • Assessing and understanding financial plans, including monthly rolling forecasts, baseline versions, and working estimates.

Risk and Financial Management:

  • Engaging with senior program or project managers to address risks, milestones, and financial aspects related to the program/project

Portfolio-Level Reporting:

  • Capturing and analyzing project data to facilitate portfolio-level reporting on, Project status, Milestones, Benefits realization, Financial and resource information, Diagnosing and presenting project trends.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a PCO, preferably in financial services sector

  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale enterprise-wide programs

  • Proficiency in project portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

  • Understanding of Scotiabank standard project applications such as PPM, Field Glass, Smartstream, Coupa, Icertis is an asset

  • Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies and business case development

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to effectively engage with stakeholders

  • Experience working with the Bank’s retail application systems and/or Contact Centre technology

  • Working knowledge of Contact Centre channel, processes, technology solutions and Retail Products
