Purpose
Responsible for supporting the development, management and delivery of Private Banking learning programs and changes across all delivery modalities including, but not limited to, virtual classes, face to face classes, eLearning, simulations, podcasts, learning plans and guides, leader guides, and job shadow guides. The Manager will work with internal and external partners and business stakeholders to implement identified changes. This role will also fulfill the program reporting needs and work with the appropriate HR Services group as required.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Responsible for the implementation of content maintenance, the integration of new content, the alignment to new strategies and ongoing learning experience, and delivery modernization
Contributes to the design and development and takes a lead role in the quality control of learning programs that support a customer focused culture across the Private Banking network
Leads virtual training sessions and other learning and development sessions as required
Impacts the quality and delivery of learning programs through leading regular touchpoints with Private Banking employees to gather feedback and provide direct support and coaching
Responsible for engaging with Managers, Senior Managers and Directors to provide professional guidance in supporting training Program progression, identifying opportunities for coaching and development, and addressing areas of concern
Takes insights and opportunities from these sessions to address gaps in learning and develop long-term solutions and strategy
Supports vendor relationships, including the coordination of content development, reviews and approvals, scheduling virtual and in-person sessions, venue contracts and attendance.
Coordinates with the Learning COE and Learning Management System teams on the implementation of complex and large content creation and/or changes to the existing content in accordance with established guidelines and standards
Provides ongoing support to the Senior Manager with training content details, reporting on content updates, collaborating with partners in Private Banking, Canadian Banking, RBSC, Contact Centre, product, and technology groups to obtain support and information when required
Prepares presentations for Senior Manager, senior audiences and partners when required
Leads regional and national calls to educate and improve learning program engagement by connecting the dots across a wide range of audiences to effectively communicate change and influence adoption
Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:
3 years Retail or Commercial banking experience
University or community college degree preferred
Bi-Lingual (English / French is an asset)
Knowledge of adult learning principles, and design and development principles
Thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, and procedures
Credit / Financial analysis experience is an asset
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong presentation skills required
Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Presentations
Experience working with HTML, Illustrator, Photoshop is an asset
