Acosta Group Manager Field in Toronto, Ontario
What will you do?
As a Field Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful planning and execution of national events and conferences.
You’re “hands on” approach will be required to provide direct insight and strategy on how to improve and grow these events. You will build client relationships based on trust, innovation and the delivery of consistent results that meet or exceed expectations.
Prepare internal and external written briefings for clients and for team implementation
Client liaison for duration of projects
Timeline and milestone planning
Onsite event and conference management
Liaison and coordination of with creative teams
Liaison and coordination of with production and build teams
Liaison and coordination of third-party Vendors
Costing and project budgeting
Provide strategic advice and recommendations to improve and grow the business
Strong orientation to identifying and maintaining operational best practices
Coordinate team efforts in the recruiting, training and ongoing development of high-performance field team
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Outgoing, friendly, sense of team spirit, confident and dedicated to event management
2-4 years’ experience in event management (event planning, conference management, technical event management, project management, hospitality management, exhibitions, trade shows, promotions, and special events)
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Creativity is a definite asset, with an eye for design to help design and bring the event experience vision to life
Agency experience is an asset
Expereince and understanding of experiential industry, E-commerce is a definite asset
Google Analytics experience considered an asset
Strong business acumen - budgeting is something you have an affinity for
Highly adaptable; Ability to handle high stress situations and utilize problem solving techniques to find the best solutions
Client service orientated with an ability to build strong and productive working relationships
Strong attention to detail, meticulous follow up, proactive
Use of a vehicle to attend client meetings and site visits
Ability to work flexible hours including overnight travel and evenings and weekends
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a digital work environment
