Overview
TurboTax Canada is seeking a Group Marketing Manager, Brand, Advertising, and Sponsorships. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented marketing leader with a deep understanding of brand strategy, media planning, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of data-driven decision making, growth mindset and creative ideation. As a Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing brand and media strategies that drive customer acquisition and loyalty. You will work cross-functionally with product strategy marketing, MarTech and PR comms, ensuring a cohesive experience for customers across all touchpoints and drive outsized growth in our market.
What you'll bring
EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of experience in brand strategy, advertising, and sponsorship management.
Deep expertise and knowledge of Canadian market and how to develop a locally relevant and effective brand and advertising strategy.
Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams, ideally in high-growth environments.
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
SKILLS:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, storytelling, communication and interpersonal skills.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills that are clear, compelling, logical, and concise.
Demonstrated ability to deliver concise written/verbal communications to all stakeholders of the organization, managing expectations of key business stakeholders and understanding the key elements that make the TurboTax brand and media strategies consistent and effective.
Positive change proponent, have the agility to deal with change and uncertainty in your day-to-day responsibilities.
Ability to set up a clear vision and inspire the team to achieve it at the highest level of craft.
Proven track record in managing simultaneous multiple priorities and projects efficiently and thriving in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

How you will lead
DEVELOP BRAND AND CAMPAIGN STRATEGY:
Define and implement relevant brand strategies and guidelines that align with Canadian needs, while staying true to our North American brand framework
Ensuring brand consistency and guideline adherence across all marketing efforts and channels
Manage a brand team that develops advertising campaigns that work across borders, ensuring consistency and maximizing efficiency.
Localize where necessary to address Canadian specific customer segments
SPONSORSHIP MANAGEMENT:
Manage sponsorships engagements with key partners
Identify, research, and select sponsorships opportunities based on the strategic fit with the TurboTax brand and marketing objectives.
Develop activation plans for selected sponsorship opportunities that drive brand awareness, consideration, and sales.
Connect with One Intuit Sponsorship Council to share best practices and create synergy between sponsored partners
MEDIA PLANNING:
Develop and execute modern and creative brand and product advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels
Collaborate with agency and internal teams to drive high-quality and efficient campaign execution, supported by a leading marketing technology stack
Continuously monitor and optimize media mix and advertising creatives to ensure campaigns are effective and deliver strong performance
Report on marketing driven KPIs during tax season, ensuring stakeholder understanding results
ROI DRIVEN MARKETING EXCELLENCE:
Continuously research and adopt emerging good practices in brand development, advertising and sponsorships
Share and apply top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel best practices across tactics
Influence key stakeholders within the Marketing organization and cross-functional partners to develop customer-led, data-driven insights, plans and initiatives with a continuous focus on a “test, refine, and deploy” mentality.
LEAD A HIGH PERFORMING TEAM:
Manage and coach a top-performing team of advertising, sponsorship and brand professionals.
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to the team, ensuring each member is equipped with the skills, tools, and resources they need to deliver exceptional brand and advertising support
Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, with a focus on delivering tangible business results that delight our customers and drive our collective success.
