Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure network architectures in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Implement and manage multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity solutions to ensure seamless integration and communication across different cloud platforms and on-premises data centers.

  • Configure and manage cloud networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute.

  • Monitor and optimize network performance, including latency, throughput, and reliability.

  • Conduct regular network performance tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

  • Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies.

  • Work closely with cloud architects, developers, and security teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding network configurations and best practices.

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance network performance and security.

  • Participate in capacity planning and scaling of network infrastructure to meet growing demands.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing network infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking services and components, such as AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, GCP VPC, load balancers, firewalls, and DNS.

  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions, including VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and inter-cloud connectivity.

  • 3+ years of experience in monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud network performance.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Must have working experience with Cloud Native Networking technologies.

  • Knowledgeable of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

  • Ability to participate in fast-paced Infrastructure Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes.

  • A critical thinker with strong research and analytics skills.

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and an ability to work independently and or in a team.

  • Able to work under tight timeline and deliver on complex problems.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Advanced degree or coursework in network engineering, cloud computing, or related disciplines is a plus.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer, or equivalent.
