Job Overview:

The Email Marketing Co-op will support the CRM team in creating and executing email marketing campaigns. This role requires a mix of creative and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and agencies to ensure that our email marketing efforts align with broader marketing strategies. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and learn about email campaign management, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.

What you'll bring

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or postgraduate program in a related field and be able to work from September 2024 - December 2024 or September 2024 - April 2025.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset

  • Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms is a plus

How you will lead

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning & Development:

  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas

  • Assist in designing and developing email marketing campaigns

  • Create campaign and copywriting briefs to guide content development

  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing email templates

  • Collaborate with agencies to help create engaging copy and visuals for emails

Execution and Management:

  • Schedule and deploy email campaigns in coordination with our agency

  • Perform quality checks and testing of emails to ensure proper functionality and appearance

  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, and calls to action

  • Partner with customer service to incorporate customer feedback into email content.

  • Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.)

  • Generate reports on campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders

  • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage email marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and email service providers

  • Stay updated on email marketing trends and best practices to ensure our campaigns are innovative and effective

  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies, and use these insights to propose unique and impactful email content
