Acosta Group Business Development Manager in Toronto, Ontario

As a Business Development Manager , you will be instrumental in expanding our business. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying prospective clients and generating leads. You will also be tasked with creating essential sales tools to streamline this process. Your enthusiasm for sales, coupled with your ambition to succeed and your interest in the food sector, will be key to our growth. Furthermore, your ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders will significantly contribute to our success.   • Identify Potential Clients: Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and convert leads into long-term partnerships.

  • Implementing Growth Strategies: Implement growth strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall business goals.

  • Sales Tools: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain presentations, case studies, etc. to support the selling process.

  • Negotiate Contracts: Support contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits.

  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the food industry.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

  • Ability to build rapport and professional networks.

  • Knowledge of the food industry and its current events.
