What You'll Be Doing:

We are seeking a Client Authentication Business Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to CIBC’s Client Authentication team. This role involves coordinating events, meetings, and assisting with the development of governance materials. The ideal candidate will excel in organizing day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operations, including client attestations, access requests, and reporting for management and executives. Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills are essential for this role.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Who You Are:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments for the business management and authentication team.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of governance materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.

  • Manage day-to-day operational tasks including client attestations, access requests, and other administrative duties.

  • Support the preparation of reporting materials for management and executives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain effective communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Assist in planning and executing internal and external events related to client authentication and business management.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, and correspondence on behalf of the team.

  • Monitor and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure deadlines are met.

How you’ll succeed:

  • You have strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management tools/software.

  • You can demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You can demonstrate experience in coordinating events and meetings, including logistics and attendee management. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Having knowledge of governance principles and practices is an asset.
