Manulife Assistant Product Management in Toronto, Ontario
The Global High-Net-Worth (Global HNW) Life Insurance Business was formed in 2023 to leverage Manulife’s enterprise-wide capabilities in serving this customer segment. By bringing together Manulife Bermuda with Manulife Hong Kong’s and Manulife Singapore’s International Brokerage Channel, the GHNW business can capitalize on the strengths of the three business units to accelerate growth in the HNW and Ultra HNW markets.

The Assistant Product Manager will report to the Manulife Bermuda Sr Director of Product Management. This role will operate as a strategist, a consultant and an implementer. She / he will play a key role in conducting market research, analyzing competitor strategies, and executing strategic product projects. The Associate Product Manager will work closely with global teams to identify competitive trends, assess market opportunities, and inform business strategies to enhance Manulife Bermuda’s competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
Gather and synthesize data on competitor strategies, product offerings, and market share
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape
Monitor industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and threats
Provide regular updates and reports on competitive analysis to the leadership team
Contribute to the development of innovative strategies for product development
Collaborate with the other Manulife entities to share ideas globally as well as implement products and processes to support serving global HNW customers
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
Proven experience in market research and competitive analysis
Ability to gather and synthesize data to provide actionable insights
Understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape in the high-net-worth segment
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with competitive analysis tools and methodologies
Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to competitive strategy development
Creative thinker with an innovative, growth-oriented mindset
Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to product strategies and roadmaps
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and influence associates at all levels and at a distance

Salary range is expected to be between
$68,475.00 USD - $114,125.00 USD
