Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3 years of experience in three of the following security areas: network, web application/mobile, cloud, scripting, tool development.

• 2 years of experiences with techniques and tools used for web application, and network security testing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications related to offensive security including OSWE, BSCP, CWEE, OSCP or relevant SANS courses

• Experience in four or more of the following: application security, offensive security testing, developing applications, source code review, reverse engineering, exploit development, network protocols, system and network administration, security consulting.

• Experience implementing or assessing information security implementation or assessment of security controls.

• Experience in software or web development.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.

The Mandiant Consulting Team delivers bespoke high value assessments, this includes adversarial emulation engagements and application security testing. This may involve supporting a threat intelligence-led red team for a large enterprise, attempting to compromise internet-facing systems, assessing high value web applications against modern threats, assessing Cloud-native solutions and mobile applications, or advising the client on best practices regarding cyber defense mechanisms.

As a Mandiant Proactive Services team member, you will be responsible for assessing and advising clients on both technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments. You will perform web application security assessments, as well as other technical cyber assessments including external pen testing and web mobile application testing. You will expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, incorporation of threat actor intelligence, internal presentations, and knowledge sharing.

The British Columbia base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 118,000-131,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position. • Conduct high quality external network and web application assessments in an independent manner. Take an active role in cloud and mobile application testing.

• Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.

• Recognize and safely utilize attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Communicate findings and strategy to client stakeholders including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel.

• Travel up 20% of the time as needed.
