Team Mandate:

The Membership Rewards (MR) team plays a critical role for International Card Services (ICS). The team is challenged to increase customer engagement through our industry leading loyalty program, Membership Rewards, while balancing the program economics. Now is an exciting time to join the team as we work to evolve and challenge ourselves to design and develop programs that bridge the balance of driving great value and meaningful rewards to our customers, all while focusing on the program financials.

Your Remit:

The Analyst/Senior Analyst role, Membership Rewards, provides a unique opportunity to the join the Rewards in a fundamental position to influence and drive profitable customer redemption behaviours. The role is pivotal to link our customers’ needs of gaining great value from their Amex Products all while continuously partnering, negotiating and influencing key external and internal teams across the Blue Box to drive profitable redemption behaviours. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Program Management and Product Marketing: Managing the end-to-end execution of meaningful marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive loyalty, customer satisfaction, engagement and redemption of rewards from the Membership Rewards Program.

  • Insightful Analytics: Crafting monthly reports on the overall performance of the MR Program and developing compelling insights, takeaways, and key learnings to share with senior leadership and various other teams across the organization. This also includes monitoring the internal, external and competitive loyalty trends to drive program strategy and enhancements, as well as individual campaign analysis and sharing of insights with internal and external partners.

  • Master Collaborator, Influencer and Organizer: Championing exceptional relationships across American Express to manage the many facets of the Membership Rewards program from campaign execution to Membership Rewards asset management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing/ Business/ Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and business experience

  • Consumer financial services (Cards, Lending, B2B) experience a plus

  • Excellent relationship-building, collaboration and communication skills, and ability to work well with both internal and external business partners

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

  • Proven ability to analyze diverse data sets including key performance metrics, competitive data and financial data

  • Confidence to manage multiple projects and work streams in parallel

  • A reputation for personal excellence, creativity and curiosity
