Our Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and leading a team in maintaining equipment and the hotel in optimum condition.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience preferably in a hotel or related industry

• Post secondary degree technical degree or related industry certification

• Advantage goes to those candidates with a 4 th Class or higher Operating Engineers License

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees and management

• Experience leading unionized employees and administering a collective bargaining agreement
