You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with supervisor. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

How you will contribute

You will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards. Because you will liaise with internal stakeholders, you will always demonstrate high quality customer service, by ensuring that work is done on time, that the analytical data generated is reliability, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner. You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts. This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

  • A relevant scientific discipline

  • Competency in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role including MS Office applications

  • Basic lab equipment, preferably with work experience in a scientific environment

  • Attending to detail, following written instructions and working on multiple activities concurrently

  • Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability, and working efficiently on a team

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Inspección de limpiezas

  • Soporte en el área de gestión de plagas

  • Muestreo e inspección para liberación de limpieza de líneas de producción

  • Soporte a las actividades diarias como reuniones con el equipo sindicalizado y administrativo

  • Manejo de proveedores externos y contratistas bajo nuestras políticas y procesos

  • Soporte en la gestión de compras del área en sistema como usuario master shopper

Educación / Certificaciones:

  • Ing. Industrial, química, en alimentos o afín. Ó Licenciatura en área económico-administrativas

Requerimientos específicos del puesto:

  • Mínimo 1 año de experiencia

  • Manejo de Office básico - intermedio

  • Inglés básico

  • Manejo deseable de SAP

Horario de Trabajo:

  • Turno mixto de lunes a viernes de 08:30 a 5:30 pm y se rolan guardías sábados o domingos de 08:30 a 13:30 hrs.
