Pay scale DOE : $20-23/HR

Schedule: 5:45AM- 6PM OR 5:45PM- 6AM

• 4x 12 hour shift

• Rotating shift

• Rotating weekends

Job Summary:

As a Production Operator you will be an integral part of the solar panel manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the efficient and sustainable production of solar energy components. This role requires attention to detail and commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery involved in the production of solar panels. Including but not limited to, photovoltaic cell manufacturing, soldering, encapsulation, and testing equipment.

• Monitor production processes, equipment parameters, and environmental conditions to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to specifications.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment. Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety measures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.

• Previous experience in manufacturing.

• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Positive working attitude

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work with a team.

• Ability to prioritize.

Working conditions:

• Works in a manufacturing environment.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

• May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

• Standing for 12 hour shifts.
