What you'll do: * Ensure health, safety, and environmental goals are met to prevent accidents and harm * Ensure appropriate troubleshooting analysis, failure analysis, and technical solutions are successfully executed * Investigate accidents and near-misses, and prepare and conduct safety meetings * Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements for the project * Focus on proactive maintenance and reliability for the plant's rotating equipment and systems * Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Process improvement teams * Align with all Control of Work (CoW) and Process Safety policies and procedures Who you are: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field required * Minimum 1+ years experience in refining or a similar process industry, such as chemical, manufacturing, or nuclear, in an engineering position required * Previous refinery experience preferred * Proactive and collaborative with a proven track record in engineering roles * Outstanding problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency * Demonstrated ability to determine and implement technical solutions We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
