Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the financial services industry based in Toledo, Ohio. The role of an Accounting Assistant is open, focusing on managing client services and preparing for financial advisor meetings. The position involves ensuring excellent customer service while anticipating client and advisor needs.

Responsibilities:

• Support financial advisors by preparing for meetings and following up with clients on related documentation and action items.

• Update and prepare consolidated balance sheets and statements.

• Provide effective and efficient oral and written communication with clients and advisors.

• Research client inquiries and resolve issues.

• Construct visual aids including charts, graphs, and tables to be used in meetings with clients.

• Organize and input data into financial planning and retirement software for advisor’s review, interpretation, and projections.

• Keep the client database updated with current information.

• Work with various back office platforms to complete applications, forms, and other documents.

• Help cover reception desk, as part of a rotation, to relieve receptionist for lunch and time-off.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledgeable about experience in Retirement Plans Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word • Proven track record in providing superior customer service • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner • Experience as an investment advisor would be a plus
