Description

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive technical activities needed to recruit and engage automotive manufacturers for Amazon.

Amazon Smart Vehicles (ASV) is creating transformative products and services that enable automotive OEMs to deliver personalized, proactive, and intuitive digital experiences that delight drivers and passengers, keeping them informed, entertained, and productive while in their vehicles.

Ideally, you’re someone who can write code with the best of them, but also want to help guide the broader automotive industry towards a technology you believe in. You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CTOs. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so. Key job responsibilities

  • Engage with automotive partners’ developers, architects, hardware engineers and managers to facilitate the integration of ASV’s products into their vehicles

  • Educate partners on ASV’s tech stack and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment

  • Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes as necessary to demonstrate ASV’s capabilities and evangelize them in the car

  • Work proactively to resolve technical issues for partners, spending time on-site as needed helping them integrate our tech stacks

  • Work proactively to resolve technical issues for partners develop tools and processes that streamline integration

  • Work with the ASV product teams to define requirements for new product features

  • Brief Amazon executive teams on progress in adoption

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
