Amazon Senior Product Manager, Growth Services, Japan Consumer Innovation in Tokyo, Japan
Description
Amazon Growth Services is looking for a big-thinking PM to transform the way we support brands looking to grow their business on Amazon through a series of paid services. This role calls for someone who is a highly effective Senior Product Manager with a proven passion for 3 things: (1) Identifying the vendor needs and competitive landscape, (2) Designing features that delight vendors, and (3) Leveraging the latest technology and science to transform how we engage millions of customers.
You will be responsible for benchmarking and defining long-term growth roadmaps and launching new products and services. You will work closely with cross functional partners including business, product, operations and tech partners to: (a) map out the pain points in the end-to-end vendor experience, (b) benchmark external services and identify new opportunities, (c) build the program feature roadmap, and (d) take products to launch and beyond.
This role requires a strategic thinker who has strong data analytics skills, can solve complex business problems, and define innovative ways to use technology to tackle them at scale. The right candidate has thrived and succeeded in building and launching features/products in an environment where priorities shift fast and ambiguity is ever present. You know how to be scrappy but build for scale. You are analytical and data-driven, can prioritize well and communicate clearly and compellingly. The PM will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
About the team: Amazon Growth Services is a new innovation team, led from Japan, that works to leverage Amazon data, science, and technology capabilities to help brands be more customer obsessed and unlock new growth opportunities.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with key stakeholders to define the pricing strategy and be the pricing voice for new paid services in JP.
• Initiate, prioritize, and lead initiatives to improve program experience for vendors enrolled on paid services.
• Define clear business requirements and work with tech and other partner teams to build new features.
• Create goals and related metrics, tracking progress and managing through obstacles to achieve your objectives.
• Run complex data analysis to generate business and customer insights for decision making.
• Communicate complex findings and ideas clearly to stakeholders through strong critical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Understand business objectives from various stakeholders and align your work with those objectives.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Native or Business level Japanese proficiency
