WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As part of the Consumer Direct Digital Marketing Team in Japan, you will lead Japan’s Targeted Communications strategy, orchestrating communications and consumer journeys across owned channels such as App Push/ Inbox and Email, and also LINE CRM etc. You will be responsible for End-to-End (E2E) execution programs, including business strategy definition, creative strategy, success metrics and read-out of results. You will be leading the creation of new processes needed in driving meaningful relationships with Nike consumers through the implementation of dynamic and testable marketing plans that ultimately increase engagement and retention. You will facilitate cross-functional planning and deployment of Nike’s communication platform capabilities, authoring, maintenance, reporting, escalation and troubleshooting.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role, you will sit in the Consumer Direct Marketing team, reporting to the Director, Consumer Direct Digital Marketing

You will work cross-functionally with key partners across Consumer Marketing, Nike Direct business teams, Site Experience, Lifecycle Communication, Digital Product, Brand Creative, and Consumer Data and Analytics

You will partner with our Japan Marketing Leaders and our key partners in the Asia-Pacific Latin America geography across Marketing and Analytics teams to drive both business and brand marketing purposes.

Your key external partners will be the day to day management of agency partners for project management, planning, creative production, and in some cases authoring and publishing.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or anything equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing (including 3+ years at CRM or Marketing Communications)

  • Experience driving targeted communications programs in App Push/ Inbox, LINE, and email etc., leveraging analytics tools including Adobe Analytics and Tableau.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in both English and Japanese) including meeting facilitation and making strategic recommendations and persuasive presentations to leadership.

  • Excellent organizational and project leadership skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities with cross-functional internal and external teams.

  • Appreciate the culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration.

  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.
