Microsoft Corporation Sales Operations in Tokyo, Japan

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales operations planning and in-year management, accelerating performance with business insights and field enablement, and enabling productivity gains via corporate transformation initiatives. You will also be responsible for identifying key insights that make leaders think and act differently based on the data presented. You will support tool simplification by retiring local tooling and adopting a standard toolset and data platform, and partnering with headquarter teams to address field needs at a global scale.

Responsibilities

Supporting Sales Discipline and Pipeline

  • Provide timely business and market insights that accelerate business performance, identify trends, track performance, and provide recommendations for improving sales productivity and revenue growth.

  • Oversee sales operations programs and ensure compliance of execution support using tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with sales excellence and go-to-market stakeholders to design, track and manage pipeline and reporting insights that drive field behavior and results.

Sales Operations

  • Track quarterly revenue projections and future quarter pipeline to provide visibility to leadership and identify any pipeline hygiene, pipeline generation or operational contracting issues in a timely manner.

  • Drive cross-segment pipeline hygiene efforts to improve pipeline accuracy and address pipeline gaps.

Nurture Seller Transformation

  • Act as subject matter expert on pipeline, reports and tools to empower success by providing insights for sellers, managers, and leaders.

  • Proactively land new seller capabilities to nurture new habits and drive pipeline and consumption.

  • Support, coordinate or deliver field enablement of central tools and reports that increase seller productivity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Design, or related field.
