Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS)
Interested in innovating to deliver world-class service to Amazon's Selling Partners? The The Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS) program is designed to enhance the customer and Seller experience in Selling on Amazon through Merchant Consultants working directly with Sellers to increase the value, choice, and convenience of their business. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, process, and people to grow the program, improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and enable global solutions by working directly with the US, EU, and China teams.
AMPS is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Analyst to help develop and grow our Paid Services business. Sales Analyst will extract complete and accurate data from large data sets, provide analytical insights, and translate them into specific, actionable recommendations to determine business strategies and tactics for AMPS. Sales Analyst will also be responsible for taking ownership of business issues, defining ambiguous issues through data analysis, and building scalable solutions while working closely with Merchant Consultants and multiple related teams. The Sales Analyst will play a key role in the development of our portfolio of AMPS solutions, working with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, have strong analytical skills, communication skills to drive issue resolution across multiple teams, and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
Extract complete and accurate data from large data sets
Define analytical approaches to complex or ambiguous business requirements and derive business insights from multiple data sources
Identify business challenges and provide mid- to long-term solutions through in-depth data analysis and establish mechanisms for continuous Improvement.
Collaborate with global teams on key initiatives and execute high impact projects. Learn from global best practices, optimize them and deploy for Japan.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Experience developing business analytics or equivalent
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open-source project
3+ years of experience in analyzing data with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
MBA
