Philips Personal Health Sales Excellence Manager in Tokyo, Japan

The Sales Excellence Manager is a trusted advisor to the market management team on commercial transformation and sales execution. Responsible for improving critical sales capabilities by changing behaviors to the respective markets, aligning and supporting the GTM strategy, and bringing targeted solutions that help gain sales productivity.

Your role: As Sales Excellence: ・Responsible for deployment of key global and local sales programs & training on sales behaviors and competencies. ・Increases sales capability and drives behavioral change with the focus and lens around sales process & methodology. ・Trusted advisor to the market management team on commercial transformation and sales execution with accountability to achieve agreed KPIs. ・Coaches sales leaders to become independent sales coaches. ・Coaches top opportunities at risk, by applying customer-focused selling (CFS) tools & techniques. ・Improves sales productivity of the market by driving funnel health, gaining sales efficiency and sales effectiveness. ・Leads sales improvement projects both domestic and JAPAC/GR, support strategy and deployment in line with the management team’s top performance priorities ・Responsible for continuously improving and maintaining the commercial model analytics to support data-driven decisions at the customer level and drive performance. Sales Planning, Analysis, and Reporting: ・Analyze sales data and trends. Responsible for collection, analysis, reporting, planning, and forecast accuracy of the sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity ・Develops and leads key performance indicators, and evaluates performance based on the sales quotas, while taking into consideration current economic conditions. ・Help derive key strategic insights from the myriad data types ・Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses to propose to the sales head associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity, and goal attainment with local Fin BP. ・Performs regular analysis for expenses and budgets. ・Evaluates pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives with local CP. ・Effectively incorporates with local Operation team customers delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations. ・Support the promotion and expansion of sales from the perspective of KPI management. ・This position is a finance-related position with a sales department, so you can be involved in KPI operations such as sales strategy, budget management, profit(cost) management, etc. in a position close to sales and operations. ・Support sales lead and the team for English communication with JAPAC/GR ・Drives continuous improvements applying LEAN Behavioral: Daily demonstration of the highest level of Philips Leadership competencies and 4 behaviors

Must-Have Requirement: • 3+ years of experience in supporting major KPIs such as sales and profits in areas such as sales planning, corporate planning, and business planning.

• Knowledge of Excel (various calculations and analysis) at an advanced level and creating presentations using PowerPoint

• Experience in project management for business, system, and operation improvement

• Improve forecast accuracy through demand forecasting and develop and implement continuous improvement proposals to reduce inventory • Ability to do proactive communication for cross-function collaboration. • Ability to do proactive communication in both English and Japanese fluently. ※Daily communication in English by e-mail, and meeting 45 / months. • Bachelor's degree Preferable : ・Work experience in a multi-national company or dealing with foreign companies. 【その他情報】
