Description:

In this position, you will report to the Regional Vice President - Operations, Japan and Micronesia. You will be responsible for successfully managing the Hotel in accordance with the Management Agreement and Hyatt’s Strategic Priorities, Policies and Standards of Performance. The focus of your activities is to achieve the following objectives:

· Establish a harmonious relationship with the Owners, customers and associates.

· Achieve successful opening of the hotel, assuring the quality of services and products be in line with the brand standard and satisfy the market’s expectation.

· Lead the Hotel team to plan, coordinate and monitor all activities in conjunction with Hyatt specialists and management team.

· Ensure the professional management and positioning of the Hotel with "Caption by Hyatt" experience in place

· Establish and achieve the Hotel’s leadership position in RevPar / Revenue Generating Index (RGI) performance against the Hotel’s competitive set.

· Prioritize at all times the safety of the Hotel, its guests and employees, including by paying very close attention to all security aspects, engineering projects and safety equipment within and relating to the Hotel.

· Successfully manage the business plan with agreed budget, and maximizing hotel revenue and profitability, monitoring all costs in line with the agreed business objectives and targets.

· Drive customer, owner and associate preference by achieving and exceeding Hyatt’s minimum thresholds/targets specified of the various guest satisfaction and colleague engagement surveys.

· Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s governance policies and the Hotel Services Agreement.

· Recruit, lead, develop, motivate and retain a team of skilled associates who are highly engaged and embody the Hyatt values

· Coordinate annual strategy workshop to focus the Management team on the actions necessary to overcome challenges and maintain clear direction and commitment to achieve the business goals.

Qualifications:

· Japanese native with proficient English capability
