Digital Acquisitions Planning & Performance Analyst-Marketing

The Digital Acquisition& Marketing team is focused on delivering best-in-class digital prospecting journey and experiences. Our mission is to acquire and onboard new cardmembers across differentiated online channels with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency. We accomplish this through various activities including external partnerships, innovative marketing campaigns and activities on both owned and partnered media channels.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and work in the fast-paced and energetic environment of Japan Digital Prospect Acquisition. Japan Digital Acquisition is a top priority for the business growth and this individual will play a key role in supporting to drive the business forward.

In the role of Planning & Performance - Analyst, you will be a part of the planning and performance team, collaborating with wide range of stakeholders responsible for supporting planning, analysis, performance monitoring, budget control and tracking to help digital acquisition team achieve card acquisitions and Revenue targets

A successful candidate will have experience to work with Japan local teams as well as teams in other international markets including Center of Excellence (CoE) and Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS).

Key Responsibilities

Analytical focus

Assist performance and planning manager to prepare forecasting calendars and investment optimization. Work closely with broader acquisition teams to organize and analyze performance data and assist in generating insights and handling queries

Relationships

Collaborate closely with digital acquisition channel teams to gather data in a timely manner to track and maintain budget control sheets and performance plans on a regular basis.

Communications

Clearly articulate the expectations with various stakeholders and follow up on a timely basis in order to complete the weekly/monthly processes

Innovation

Bent to improve efficiency while executing regular processes and ability to innovative and automate wherever possible utilizing the existing tools

Key Competencies

  • Exceptional at organizing complex data with detail orientation

  • Demonstrates analytical aptitude and ability to analyze data to provide meaningful insights to make informed decisions

  • Team player with excellent relationship-building, collaboration, and communication skills across diverse group of internal and external partners

  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment

  • Business level Japanese and English

Skills

  • 5 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent with Microsoft Excel: Pivot, Formula, VBA (good to have)

  • Microsoft PowerPoint – visual data representation

  • Tableau, data visualization/analysis (Highly desirable)

  • Basic knowledge of database and SQL

  • General knowledge or experience in digital marketing

  • Financial knowledge (good to have)
