Job Description :

This role is an exciting new opportunity which focuses on digital acquisition, targeting prospects in Japan. The candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing key digital acquisition channels, and delivering against aggressive goals. The role directly reporting to Digital Acquisition Manager.

Key goals are to:

  • Drive New Account Acquired growth aggressively

  • Drive positive downstream behavior for new card members (activation, billed business)

  • Manage ROI (Return on Investment) and CPC (Cost per Card) in daily basis

Primary responsibilities include:

Acquisition Management

  • Deliver on the acquisition strategy and related product and communication tactics/campaigns

  • Work closely with Sub channel owners, developers, and Central marketing teams to optimize campaign effectiveness and resource

  • Ensure compliance with key legal and regulatory requirements

Channel Development and Implementation

  • Determine and implement scalable and cost-efficient acquisition strategy across digital channels, including SEM/SEO, Affiliates, Online Partners, Media Buying, Mobile/Smart Phone, SNS, and so on

  • Manage acquisition campaign offer fulfillment

  • Experience to manage Paid media account would be plus (Either agency or inhouse channel enablement team)

Customer Experience

  • Establish a best-in-class customer experience

  • Work and liaise comfortable with key internal stakeholders (Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions, Digital Capability, Product, Brand & Communication, Sales team, Risk, New Accounts, Legal/Compliance, General Counsel’s Organization, Finance, Global Merchant Services team etc)

  • Effectively manage external agencies to develop both effective creative and campaign plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Digital marketing experience; Least 3 years work experience specifically digital acquisition, PPC, media, and affiliate domain preferred

  • Excellent oral and especially written communication in Japanese/English

  • Good understanding of consumer attitudes, online behavior and interactive technologies

  • Comfortable working with data and software tools and able to distill actionable insights/trends

  • Solid understanding of card economics and financial concepts, e.g. ROI

  • Results oriented and good project management - ability to drive projects/partners towards deadlines

  • Excellent relationship and influencing skills and proven ability of driving results within a matrixed organization

  • Must be detail-oriented, a creative thinker, a team player, organized and efficient

  • Team player and excellent communication skill to work with colleague across the lines

  • Self motivator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in MS Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint
