Job Overview:
As a Corporate Actions Presales Specialist based in Tokyo, Japan, you will be responsible for driving presales activities, supporting revenue growth, and fostering client relationships in the region. This role requires proficiency in English and Japanese languages, along with a deep understanding of software solutions, post-trade processing and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and showcasing how our solutions can address their challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Presales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor presentations and demonstrations accordingly.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, draft RFI/RFP response and solution workshops to showcase the features and benefits of our Corporate Actions & Post-Trade Processing solutions to prospective clients.
Respond to client inquiries, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the presales process.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in Tokyo and across Japan, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations on how our solutions can meet their specific needs.
Language Skills:
Utilize proficiency in English and Japanese languages to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Translate materials, presentations, and documentation as needed to support client interactions and internal communications.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in Japan, providing insights to inform presales strategies.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion, positioning our solutions effectively in the marketplace.
Proficiency in Financial Services (buy-side & sell-side), Post-trade Processing, Custody & Fund Service, Securities/Asset Service is essential
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and coordination in client engagement efforts.
Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales, sales, or a related role within the software or technology industry.
Proficiency in English and Japanese languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Deep understanding of software solutions, post-trade processing and regulatory compliance concepts.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and client requirements to identify opportunities for business growth.
