Oracle Sales Administrator in TOKYO, Japan

  • Provides support for the preparation of quotation data using the internal system based on requests from the sales department for subsequent quotation issuance, contract preparation, and progression to the order process.

  • Prepare standard and non-standard quotation data for potential renewals and new contracts and respond to various inquiries from the sales department regarding quotation data preparation.

  • Work with and verify compliance with Oracle business practices and consulting business approvals/processes while maintaining customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customers.

In the future, as a member of the Deal Management Department, the position will also provide support for all aspects of sales transactions, including contract drafting, negotiation, order receipt, and invoicing related to sales transactions.

Responsibilities

Duties are primarily standard, but with some variation.

  • The role is primarily performed independently, within defined policies and procedures.

  • Excellent written or verbal interpersonal and analytical communication skills.

  • Must be meticulous and detail oriented.

  • Experience in preparing standard quotes and contract documents.

  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in email, MS Word, and Excel.

  • Knowledge of Oracle policies and procedures preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in contracts, purchasing or related field.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of work experience.
