MAG Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support theWideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depotensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all war-fighter needs.

This is in person on site spot

Requires a Secret Security Clearance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS).

• Ability to create programs programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer languages

• Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience working with Terraform or Ansible

• Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ect.)

• Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, Hyper-V)

• Experience with virtualization and software pipelines is a requirement

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related field

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.

Desired Requirements

• Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is preferred

• Experience working with cloud computing/cloud computing tools

Other Qualifications

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:

• Must be a US Citizen

• DoD SECRET Security Clearance preferred

• Percentage of Travel Required: 0-10%
